What is psychological life coaching?

Psychological life coaching is designed to give you the tools to unlock your full potential. Most of us tend to form self-limiting beliefs (I will never achieve, I always fail) and we will often weave these beliefs into stories and narratives about ourselves which sabotage success. These stories can powerfully stop us from achieving our potential and if not challenged can fool us into believing our self-critical thoughts. The process of psychological life coaching is about identifying and challenging our self-limiting beliefs and stories which can prevent us in from fulfilling our desires.

I can help you to uncover your dreams and ambitions and give you the confidence to believe they are something you can achieve. We will work together to map out your goals and break them down into more manageable steps and I will be there to guide and support you along the way. Our coaching journey will equip you with the tools to overcome blocks in the road. Although these blocks may seem like obstacles to progress, it is in facing them and stepping out of your comfort zone, that you will make sustainable changes and unlock your full potential.

 

What can psychological life coaching help me with?

Each person is unique, with their own difficulties. Having worked as a life coach and also within  psychology services, I have worked with a diverse client group and have the tools and expertise to help you with whatever it is you want to achieve. Life coaching is used to help people that want to make a positive change in their life and so there is a multitude of potential of issues that are suited to coaching. This includes but is not limited to the areas listed below. 

Managing your mind and getting in control of anything from low level anxiety to panic attacks, helping you to identify your triggers and equipping you with strategies and tools to manage anxiety.

Creating a work-life balance, feeling less overwhelmed, preventing and recovering from burn out.

Building your confidence, letting go of self-doubt, building your self-esteem, breaking free from imposter syndrome and comparison with others, silencing your inner critic, unchaining yourself from perfectionism, releasing self-limiting beliefs and stories you’ve created about yourself.

Supporting you with changing career, starting a new business, or working towards a promotion, increasing your performance, developing your leadership skills, building your confidence in public speaking.

What is included in my 1:1 coaching package?

  • An initial consultation call lasting 20 minutes to connect with each other and explore your hopes and ambitions.
  • We will have one hour sessions via zoom (video calling) every 1 to 2 weeks.
  • In order to create sustainable, long-lasting change, I work with clients for a minimum of 8 sessions, over a 4 month period.
  • Ongoing access to my support in between sessions via email and text.
  • You will have a safe, non-judgemental, private and confidential space.
  • You will have a bespoke coaching programme completely personalised and tailored to you.
  • I will integrate evidence-based methods into our sessions including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness, compassion focused therapy and neuroscience.
  • We will set tasks at the end of each session to ensure you are continually moving forwards towards your goals.
  • You will have my full commitment to you as your coach.
